Volunteer Opportunities  

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Space Coast Marathon & Half Marathon.  The success of any large event is dependent on volunteers and it takes hundreds of volunteers to host a marathon.  We have the following volunteer opportunities available for this year’s race on November 29^th and 30th:

Saturday, Nov. 29^th (Radisson Resort)

• Decoration Committee             
• Race Packet Pickup
• Participant Greeters
• Information Desk

Sunday, Nov. 30^th (Riverfront Park)

• Bus Greeters (Radisson Resort)
• Participant Greeters/Information
• Packet & Chip Pickup
• Setup Crew for Bag Check
• Setup/Teardown Crew for Corral System
• Cleanup Crew for Start Area
• Towel & Medal Distribution
• Food & Drinks
• Course Marshals
• Champion Chip Removal/Recovery
• Cleanup Crew (12:00 noon start)

Running Zone will be providing a marathon and half marathon training program to prepare for the Space Coast Half Marathon on Sunday, Nov. 30th, 2008. The training program will start in sometime in July.
